DEFENSE OFFICE OF HEARINGS AND APPEALS
NOTICE OF HEARING
INDUSTRIAL SECURITY CLEARANCE (ISCR)
Hearings Scheduled in Jacksonville, FL in July 2016
The Department of Defense, Defense Office of Hearings and Appeals (DOHA) recently issued the Notice of Hearing to all security clearance applicants in the Jacksonville, FL area who have pending hearings for July 2016. The term of court will be the week of July 11, 2016 at U.S. Tax Court, U.S. Courthouse, 300 North Hogan STreet, 6th Floor Courtroom 6A, Jacksonville, FL. This is the federal courthouse. The presiding Judge will be Administrative Judge Robert R. Gales.
I will be appearing at the hearings for clients facing denial or revocation of a security clearance. ISCR cases involve employees who work for DoD contractors. I have previously written about what to expect during a DOHA hearing. These hearings are the final opportunity for a contractor to obtain a security clearance, so the stakes are extremely high.
Even though these DOHA hearings have been scheduled for Jacksonville in July 2016, it is not too late to consult with a security clearance lawyer. Attorney Patrick Korody is located in Jacksonville and has successfully represented clients over the past 8 years who have faced loss or denial of a security clearance.
